Do I need internet?
Yes. The AI features require internet connection.

Do I need an OpenAI account?
Yes. You need your own OpenAI API key to use PracticalKit.

Is my data private?
Your files stay on your computer. Only the content you ask about is sent to OpenAI for AI processing.

What file types work?
Currently: Markdown (.md). More coming soon.

How many files can it handle?
No hard limit. Works with 10 or 10,000 files.

Can it read subfolders?
Yes. Any depth. It sees all files in nested folders.

Can it create files?
Yes. It can create, read, modify, and delete files.

Can it create folders?
Yes. It can create and organize folder structures.

Do I need to learn commands?
No. Just ask in plain English.

Can I use it for work files?
Yes. That's what it's built for.

Can it modify my files?
Yes. It can create, read, modify, and delete files based on your requests.

Can I undo things?
You'll need to use your own backup strategy. PracticalKit doesn't have built-in undo yet.

What AI does it use?
OpenAI's models (via your API key).

Does it work offline?
No. AI features need internet.

How much space does it need?
About 20MB. Minimal resources.

Can I run multiple instances?
Yes. Open multiple folders at once.
